Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of LightMetrica (lightmetrica.com). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
LightMetrica provides a tracking script, a dashboard with web analytics reports, weekly summaries and related tools. The service is currently free to use. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance; you will be able to export or delete your data before they apply to you.
2. Your account
- Provide a working email address and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account.
- Tell us at smartscan.tools@gmail.com if you think your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You may install the tracking script only on websites you own or are authorized to manage. You agree not to:
- send personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, IDs, etc.) to LightMetrica, including in goal names or goal parameters;
- use the service on websites that are illegal or that host content that violates applicable law;
- send fake or automated traffic to the service, overload it, or try to access other users' data;
- resell or repackage the service without our permission.
You are responsible for complying with the privacy and consumer laws that apply to your website, including informing your visitors about analytics where required.
4. Your data
Statistics collected on your websites belong to you. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete a counter and all of its data at any time.
5. AI summaries
Weekly summaries are generated automatically from your statistics. The numbers are calculated by our code, but the wording is written by an AI model and may contain inaccuracies or guesses. Treat them as a starting point, not as advice.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or of data completeness. Statistics may differ from other analytics tools because of different counting rules, ad blockers and network conditions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and delete your counters at any time; to delete your account, email smartscan.tools@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
9. Trademarks
Yandex Metrica is a trademark of Yandex LLC. LightMetrica is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Yandex.
10. Changes and contact
